Another Secret Mode published title, this time it’s The Chinese Room’s narrative horror Still Wakes the Deep game. Set for release in 2024, you’ll want to check out the video further down.
The developers aren’t new to the genre, having already created the superb Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, nor are they strangers to cinema, saying that this new game is comparable to Stanley Kubrick losing his mind and shooting a documentary on an oil rig.
That’s where this takes place – a Scottish oil rig in the 1970s, and you play as ex-boxer Caz McCleary. He’s run away from his problems by isolating himself on the oil rig, and now they’ve caught up with him.

That’s no doubt about it – Still Wakes the Deep looks terrifying, especially if you’re not one for isolation. It’s expected for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Game Pass.
