Unpacking 100% Achievements/Trophy Guide

Unpack some space to fit your new platinum trophy.

28 October 2023 3 Min Read

After smashing through Unpacking again after finding it on the PlayStation subscription plan, I deleted it to free up a minuscule amount of storage, only for my kids to reinstall it.

Looking to get their first couple of Platinums, I helped them reach 100% achievements and thought, “Hell, most people come to the site for guides. Why not bash out one for Unpacking?”

And here it is.

Unpacking 100% Achievements

1997

  • Make Some Memories – unlocked once you find the camera.
  • Solve A Puzzle – Locate the Rubik’s Cube and keep pressing the circle button on the PlayStation controller until all sides are the same colour. [Possible to do this in 2004 as well].
  • Blast Some Tunes – tap the circle button (or equivalent) on the controller when interacting with any music player.
  • Beginning – Finish 1997.

2004

  • Solve A Puzzle – Locate the Rubik’s Cube and keep pressing the circle button on the PlayStation controller until all sides are the same colour. [Possible to do this in 1997 as well].
  • A Sometimes Food – Put the cookie jar at the top of the kitchen shelf. [Possible to do this in 2015 and 2018 as well].
  • Strike A Pose – Keep tapping the circle button on the small mannequin until the pose changes and the trophy triggers.
  • Electrical Hazard – move any electrical appliance into the bathtub. [Works on multiple levels and also in the kitchen sink].
  • Get Smart – Finish 2004.

2007

  • Game On – interact with the GameCube-like console using the circle button.
  • Hat On Head – put the green baseball cap on the plain mannequin head on the bookcase.
  • Fellowship – Finish 2007.

2010

  • Tidy Whities – easy to miss. In the drawers in the wardrobe, take all the underwear out of either the top or second drawer down and place them all in one drawer only.
  • Brew Some Coffee – I cheated on this one as I couldn’t work it out 🙁 Move the following items onto the centre island in the kitchen, not the kitchen counter (if in doubt, just move it all onto the surface!):
    • Espresso
    • Coffee packer
    • Coffee drip filter
    • Coffee machine/grinders
    • Teapot?!
    • Mug
  • Too Cool – Finish 2010.

2012

  • Rediscover Childhood – there will be a purple rolled-up poster that looks like a thin yoga mat. Position it on the wall to unlock the trophy.
  • Home Cooking – Finish 2012.

2013

  • 12:00 – Keep tapping the circle button on the microwave to set the time.
  • Brilliantly Solved – Position fridge magnets to do an equation. I did 2+1=3. Keep them on the same line for the achievement.
  • Independence – Finish 2013.

2015

  • Green Thumb – Place all plants within the apartment. It can be anywhere unless there’s a flashing red line around it!
  • Love – Finish 2015.

2018

  • Baby Builder – Stack as many baby blocks up on top of each other. I managed two piles right next to the cot, and it triggered.
  • Fuzzy Friends – Put the stuffed tiger and pig next to each other on the bed. It only worked for me when the tiger was on the pig’s right.
  • Gotta Flush ’em All – Flush the handle on every toilet (there are two in 2018). I unlocked this trophy last, and it can be done in any order by jumping back and forth through the photo albums.
  • No Place Like Home – Finish the stage.

Platinum

  • All Moved In – Ta daa – you did it!

This is the bit where I write about being independent, playing video games since birth, being passionate, and other nonsense. Oh, I'm a Gemini, too.
