If you’ve stumbled upon this page wondering what this site is all about, it’s an ongoing archive of reviews, previews and guides about video games written on both sites. The door was left ajar at the end of 2024 due to AI, content theft, video content creators (understandably), not having the time, and being fed up with being a cheerleader.
But gaming is like crack, and I’m back, Jack.
There were 5000+ news articles over the years, but I’ve decided to delete all of those for the sake of time, and because it’s old news.

Huh-Huh, I’m Gonna Score!
You may spot some changes on the site. I’m having a glow up. I think that’s the term…
One thing I’ve reluctantly gone back on is review scores. I’m adding scores for visibility only. This is so people can find me a little easier. The scores aren’t plucked out of the air, but they’re naturally subjective, so please read the reviews for closure.

Essential, the best, and the elusive one. No game is perfect, but these are the ones you carry through the ages. Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, and Tetris.

Super, smashing, great. This is a high accolade and something you need in your life besides friends and good hygiene. Mouthwashing, Paratopic… something new, PEPPERED.

Very good, worth playing/buying/asking from a loved one. This is a good score, and I don’t know why people think it’s not good. They can’t all be zingers! Most games, really – Asgard’s Fall, PengPong and Hollowbody.

Also not bad, but something that maybe didn’t resonate with me, or needs a few things ironed out for it to be worth recommending. I can’t stress how this isn’t a bad score. Atomic Owl, Adorable Adventures, and Folk Hero.

Even here, I wouldn’t ever deter you from a game that someone has potentially worked hard on, no matter how much others might say it looks and smells like excrement. I don’t have any examples, as I haven’t been doing scores like this.
There was actually a game I bought quite recently that would apply. I detested that to the point I deleted it and removed it from my account. No naming and shaming, but that was an exception, and I wouldn’t score it at all. But we don’t have a 0 option.
I hope that helps and massages some egos and reassures those who don’t get the scoring (I don’t entirely – I’d like to think the writing makes it clear).
And no, I’m never paid for any of the work I do; I’m just actually nice and sincere in what I write, whether you believe that or not, you sexy bit of stuff, you.
