Attention All Hordes: World War Z: Aftermath Out This Year

It’s the end of the world as we know it. Still, grab some friends – it’s zombie shooting time. World War Z: Aftermath out later this year for PC and consoles.

The zombie game is back, and this time it’s World War Z: Aftermath for the PC and consoles. Based on actual made-up events, this co-op shooter flaunts 4K at a pant staining 60FPS. Get outta here!

From Saber Interactive, behind the upcoming Evil Dead: The Game, pick from three of your best friends or AI if you have a B.O. as you push back the zombie hordes. And horde isn’t used lightly here as the game will be using Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine, so expect lots of resistance.

World War Z: Aftermath isn’t just mindless zombie discrimination, as there’s a story too, and players will be able to see the world – including the Vatican City and the Kamchatka peninsula. If you didn’t pay attention in Geography, that’s in Russia.

World War Z: Aftermath will be nibbling on the flesh of the PS4, Xbox One and the PC later this year with backwards compatibility. Dedicated next-gen versions are due in early 2022 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and a free upgrade to those who purchase Aftermath on their respective platform.
