HypeTrain Digital is the appropriate publisher, and name, for the upcoming Tunche release date – a game I’ve been feverishly waiting on since its announcement back when I could remember the differences between days. I’m hyped.

With five characters to choose from in this beat ’em up by LEAP Game Studios, you’ll make your way through the Amazonian rainforest either on your own or in a local co-op. As expected, each character has their own style and abilities, upgrading their skills and unlocking new moves as you progress through the story.

The initial stand out of Tunche was the beautiful hand-drawn illustrations. Having seen the demo, it’s as stunning to play as it is to look at in a static screenshot, and most definitely one to add to your wishlist.

Key features for Tunche include:

  • PLAY IN CO-OP: Play solo or join up to 3 of your friends in a local co-op session to uncover the mystery of the forest and the secrets of Tunche!
  • FIND YOUR OWN PLAYSTYLE: Choose one of the five unique characters: Rumi, the sorceress, Pancho the musician, Qaru the bird boy, Nayra the warrior & Hat Kid from the highly acclaimed A Hat In Time.
  • MASTER THE DIFFERENT SKILLS: To overcome the evil beasts of Amazonian forests you will have to learn the skills and ultimate abilities that will take you further through the story with each playthrough.

Want to see it in motion? Of course, you do:

The Tunche release date is the 2nd of November and is coming to PC, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox. Sadly no PlayStation version as yet, but for everyone else, this is a must.
