Out next week on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch is The Pillar Puzzle Escape – surprisingly, a puzzle game from Paper Bunker and Eastasiasoft.

First impressions resemble an aesthetic like The Witness, which is an excellent complement for puzzle material. The visuals play a big part as you investigate ‘riddling contractions and scenic vistas’.

Perhaps the biggest hook about The Pillar Puzzle Escape is that it plays out like a lucid dream; only is this a dream where you want to remain as you will have to escape a mystical maze in the process. I’d rather this aesthetic than be staring a bush all day. Wait…

Here’s a trailer:

The Pillar Puzzle Escape is out digitally on the 13th of January priced at US$9.99/€9.99, with an additional 20% launch discount on select platforms.
