Going, going…gone

The Almost Gone

An award-winning narrative puzzle game, The Almost Gone is a title heading to the Nintendo Switch, PC, as well as iOS and Android.

From Happy Volcano and published by Playdigious, the game is a point and click puzzle game of sorts, unravelling the mysteries that surround the protagonist’s life.

Covering numerous settings, from your home through to the deserted streets, The Almost Gone is a tale about death, loss and mental health.

A better way of explaining it is from the horse’s (official site) mouth:

Trapped between life and death, a young girl must explore her surroundings to unravel the dark and poignant truth about her death. This point and click adventure is a compelling adult tale like no other, told like no other. Release for mobile and desktop in the near future.

Just some of the features in the game:

  • Experience an emotional and immersive story written by award-winning author Joost Vandecasteele
  • Explore every nook and cranny of each beautifully rendered diorama
  • Play through five compelling chapters, with each revealing more secrets and twists that will lead you to the truth
  • 8 languages available: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Dutch!

Here’s a little insight into the world of The Almost Gone:

The Almost Gone releases on the 25th of June 2020.
