Forget the inauguration next week as Teratopia is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Of course, get your priorities right and all, but it’s ok to get excited about this game, you know.

A 3D action brawler from EastasiasoftTeratopia is inspired by 3D action platformers ‘with a naughty sense of humor to grow with the genre’s aging fans’. They may as well have sent me a handwritten letter – I’m already sold.

You play as Tucho and have to rescue your friends in the lands of Teratopia, not through an open discussion but fisticuffs – yay! A bit like Eastasiasoft’s other offering, Drunken Fist, which you should check out.

As for this game, it looks great and a bit of a throwback to some of the classic 3D worlds that we’ve seen in recent titles such as TY The Tasmanian Tiger HD and Super Lucky Tales. Check it out for your self:

Teratopia will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and Steam on the 20th January for US$14.99/€14.99 with an additional 20% launch discount on selected platforms. There is a Switch version coming up, but released at a later date.
