It doesn’t matter what Splashy Cube is for a moment or two, let’s just embrace the name first… It could be all manner of things but to cut off your imagination like a back alley vasectomy, it’s a minimalistic puzzle game for the Switch.

From No Gravity Games (Alder’s Blood and Creepy Tale) and RedDev Studio (Professor Madhouse and Potato), this blob-eating cube has to traverse many tiny obstacles, juxtaposed with huge challenges.

The game covers colourful labyrinths, but to mute any sign of peace and tranquillity, you’ll have to avoid spikes, and other blobs with a different colour to you as ‘you’re allergic’. Deep.

Splashy Cube features include:

  • Plenty of colourful and challenging levels;
  • Simple, yet highly addictive gameplay;
  • Adorable, minimalistic graphics that will please your eye;
  • Lots of skins to unlock;
  • Highscores!

Here’s a trailer:

Splashy Cube will be out on the Switch on the 11th of December, so don’t delay and pre-order for 20% or 50% off if you already own any other No Gravity Games.
