SOEDESCO Postpones Physical Releases

With the current COVID-19 pandemic, SOEDESCO postpones physical releases, but digital games to still go ahead.

SOEDESCO postpones physical releases

SOEDESCO has recently made a public announcement about their line of productivity during the COVID-19 situation, and the effects on their upcoming physical releases.

Trade is essential, but employees need to be protected, and any decent organisation will take steps to ensure the safety of their staff. Least, that’s the idea. In this case, SOEDESCO takes the ideal approach.

Due to recent developments in the market that are beyond our control, we have made the difficult decision to postpone some of the physical releases to a later date. The global crisis has a big impact on logistics, which makes it difficult for us to manufacture, ship and sell physical games right now. However, the digital releases will continue as planned.

Hans van Brakel, Executive Manager at SOEDESCO

An inevitability then, as we’re all aware that other top companies have had to temporarily shut up shop or at least postpone titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and even getting hold of a physical copy of Final Fantasy VII has been a challenge.

Still, there’s digital, and with the likes of the Nintendo eShop and the PlayStation Store (plus the others not covered on this site), gamers can still get their fix from SOEDESCO, albeit it, not something they can currently put on their shelves.

Both Monstrum for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Adam’s Venture Origins on the Nintendo Switch have been postponed, that is, the physical editions, but the digital versions are still on the cards.

You will still be able to get them digitally, and SOEDESCO will be announcing these release dates soon.
