Serial Hunter Putting The Heebie Jeebies Into Crims Next Year

What is it with Johnny Public’s obsession with serial killers? “I’d never do anything like that; that’s why it intrigues me…”. Tell it to your shrink. Serial Hunter is a spin on this as it’s about a vigilante heading out to sort these wrong ‘uns out.

From indie developer/publisher S2 Games, their title due next year will see players as a fearsome masked avenger that ‘won’t shy away from covering controversial topics’ in this brutal, uncompromising first-person title. 

As the imaginatively titled John Doe, you’re an investigative journalist that uses his police and street informer contacts as a way to muscle in and seek vengeance. While Batman’s pondering on morals, this chap takes matters into his own hands, fighting fire with fire.

Serial Hunter is about being the judge, jury and executioner, and methinks there’s an emphasis on the latter. Perhaps it’ll be one for the Daily Mail (do your research internationals) and be on the banned list with Manhunt and Tormentor (will that really see the light of day?!). Regardless, it’s an interesting take, and maybe you won’t admit it, but it feels like this will be an eye for an eye scale justice.
