Remnant From The Ashes Secures A Physical Release

Originally in digital only, now in physical form for the hoarders.

Remnant From The Ashes physical release

Remnant From The Ashes, from Gunfire Games, has been available for some time now on the PS4, Xbox One and PC, but only in digital form. From mid-March, a physical release will be unveiled worldwide, with the exception of Asia. Gutted.

In the game, you play a character who arrives on Earth – a post-apocalyptic hell-hole (next year then) and take out enemy hordes in a third-person perspective. Looking at the official PR and gameplay videos, it seems the focus is more on calculated attacks than button mashing; formulating your moves based on the patterns displayed by the enemies.

Without playing Remnant From The Ashes, it comes across as a Dark Souls, Gears of War – even Lords of the Fallen type fusion. All held in high regard, can it’s clear why this has been getting good reviews across the board. It’s another one of those games that have slipped through the net in my circles, but with the physical release, that may change.

You can expect to see this at your favourite game store on the same platforms in the opening paragraph, from 17th March.

1950s sci-fi is some of the best, IMHO. Here Squadron 51 hones in on that nostalgia for a quality shoot 'em up.
