Look At The Tiles On That! Pretty Girls Rivers

There's a river Nile/Tile joke in there somewhere but I missed it. Pretty Girls Rivers is a tile-based puzzler on consoles this week.

Zoo Corporation is back with Eastasiasoft, and this time it’s for the Pretty Girls Rivers release date. Well, they aren’t making a big thing about the date or anything, but they have collaborated once more.

We’re looking at a tile-based game – not turn-based grid strategies, but a fast-paced puzzler in the style of Mahjong Solitaire. Anyone with circa date of Windows XP and working in an office will be familiar with the style of play…

However, instead of a dull green background, we have a selection of girls. As you progress with the puzzle-solving in Pretty Girls Rivers, beating the clock, learning patterns and what-not, you’ll unlock new costumes for these companions that include casual, cute, cool and sexy. That pretty much sums me up. Bleurgh!

Key features in the game include:

  • Match tiles in puzzle action that’s easy to learn and fun to master!
  • Clear dozens of stages with unique tile patterns and obstacles.
  • Unlock outfits to dress up the female challengers!
  • Meet 6 lovely ladies voiced in Japanese.
  • Assemble dioramas using newly enhanced Dressing Room features!

…and here are those girls – I mean the puzzles – in action:

Pretty Girls Rivers is out on the 14th of April for the PS4, PS5 and the Nintendo Switch, priced at US $5.99/€5.99.
