In Obey Me, you play Vanessa Held with possibly the most non-threatening name for a hellhound, Monty.
Watch the trailer and hear Vanessa call out “Monty” every so often. Hell must be shaking in it’s PVC spiked heels.
Following the traditional battle of good versus evil, Vanessa represents the forces of heaven taking on the might of hell in this third-person action title that has a slight scent of Torchlight or perhaps Diablo 3 when it comes to presentation.
Vanessa wields astral weapons in Obey Me, while Monty can summon infernal attacks on their enemies; unlocking new skills and upgrades along the way.
By default, Monty is an AI character, but if you have the equivalent loyal friend willing to join your side, you’ll have your very own co-op experience.
Obey Me features include:
- Unlockable skills and weapons.
- Solo or co-op play.
- Special combos that include the Soul Overload and Fusion Mode.
- A companion graphic novel is also available from Dynamite Comics and illustrated by acclaimed Marvel artist Ben Herrera.
