Not the jolliest of titles, but Martha Is Dead, a title I’m looking forward to playing on the PlayStation 5, has just been showcased at the Golden Joysticks Awards 2020.

There was a hint of next-gen as it was already announced by LKA and Wired Productions that it was coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, but now it’s official.

Martha Is Dead is a psychological thriller set in the Italian countryside around the time of World War II. Martha’s body is found drowned, and her twin has to pick up the pieces, all while the war is going on.

LKA are behind the psychological adventure The Town of Light, and Wired Productions hardly need an introduction with the catalogue of gorgeous titles, including The Maid of Sker, which I’m still too much of a wuss to try, but also The Falconeer.

Here’s the announcement video:

Martha Is Dead is scheduled for PC, PS4/5, Xbox One/Series X in 2021. You can wishlist is on the Steam store now.
