Get Your Rocks Off, Loud, On The Nintendo Switch

Don't want to live a potentially mundane adult life? Help Astrid learn the guitar so she can go from her basement to a record deal in rhythm game Loud, coming to the Switch.

What’s this? A new Guitar Hero game? Not entirely, but also, Loud isn’t far from it. Developed by Hyperstrange, this is a ‘wholesome rhythm guitar game’ coming to the Switch.

Unlike most rhythm games, there’s a story here. You play as the teenager Astrid, pursuing her dreams to become a talented musician to avoid a potentially mundane adult life. It’s true; that’s what happens to us all…

Fusing the world of guitar with pop-punk and emo (please be metal, please be metal…), Loud follows Astrid’s journey from her basement through to being signed by a talent scout, featuring 14 custom-written songs.

Below is a full song playthrough by one of the devs on hard mode:

Loud will be available on the Switch from the 15th July, with other platforms to follow.

If you share this, I'll love you forever (ish)
