Iron Man Makes An Appearance In The UK Charts

This week sees a high entry from Marvel’s Iron Man VR in the UK charts, and another 3DS title.

It’s Monday, its time for the results of the UK charts – more of an excuse to stretch out my digits and give the odd opinion in this week’s countdown.

Well, it’s not a countdown, but you can find the list at the foot of the post.

The big entry this week, which is a bit of a surprise, is Marvel’s Iron Man VR. Sure, Marvel has a huge fanbase, so this would have done well in its first week regardless, but a VR title at number two? Hmmm. Still, it looked great in the early days, but I’m Team Thor and Hulk. In fear of breaking the internet, I always thought Iron Man sucked arse.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is in the top ten yet again, especially now there’s some new DLC in the form of Happy Home Designer. It’s been under a week since I got Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and to be honest, I haven’t been playing it that much and was more into finishing Final Fantasy VII Remake, which crashes out of the charts and not even within the top 40.

Perhaps I was a bit slow on the uptake, but you can read my review here.

The Last Of Us Part II still leads the charts, and I still have no desire to add to my list – mostly as a time factor, but I’ll wait until it drops a bit in price, and also continue to avoid the spoilers posted online.

Two girls on the go and now a third?

Another surprise is Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash. Bear in mind this is the UK charts, a somewhat low-key title jumped in at number 34. While that isn’t high, it’s another entry for the 3DS as per last week with Bravely Second: End Layer which drops two places to four.

There’s nothing that exciting in these charts this week, so what do we have coming out? Catherine: Full Body is out this week on the Switch – one of my all-time favourites, but I have it on the PS4 and not compelled to purchase for a second time.

We also have Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town coming out. Watch this space.

Next week is a big deal as if all goes to plan, Ghost of Tsushima, from Sucker Punch, is coming out on the 17th July. While I’m unlikely to purchase on launch day, this is one game I’ll be getting over The Last of Us Part II, and hopefully, it will fill my feudal Japan fix after my appalling attempt at Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. At the time of writing (14:57), I still haven’t finished it.

So, money on Ghosts of Tsushima to take the lead, but not until two weeks today for when the charts are compiled.

That is all, now have a butcher’s at the list.
