Feel The Burn With Friends In Holy Purge

Send the demons back to Hell in upcoming first-person survival horror co-op, Holy Purge. Heading to Steam before Hell freezes over.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from watching the Holy Purge trailer for Steam is the burn. Wow, to purge something means it all burning to damnation…

This first-person survival game from Celeritas Games allows for up to three online co-op players to battle a plague head-on, fighting the likes of werewolves, unravelling witchcraft, and escaping the reaper of souls.

Though Holy Purge places emphasis on playing in co-op, fellow loners can dive into a solo campaign but be forewarned that the developers state this is for hardcore players only. Gulp.

Key features include:

  • Play as Holy Priests in this online co-op experience where you must work together to stop the evil plague befalling a medieval village.
  • Explore an open-world medieval village plagued by evil. Collect ritual items to reverse a witch spell.
  • Defend yourselves using holy crosses, silver, and fire torches. Work together with your fellow brethren and overcome an ancient evil spirit.
  • Complete the ritual and cleanse the village plagued by evil.
  • Objectives to complete are randomized. Doors, ritual Items and collectibles are randomized.
  • For the ultimate challenge complete the map within a limited time frame before the village is completely consumed by darkness.
  • Make use of our in-game positional voice chat. Bring friends, or find other players using the server browser.

Holy Purge doesn’t have a release date yet, and there’s not even so much as a tease on the Steam page. Still, feel free to wishlist it if it’s tickled your fancy.
