ExoCorps is heading to Steam on Early Access next month – a multiplayer FPS set in alien environments.
Come visit Arizona! That’s the message I got from watching the trailer for ExoCorps, coming to Steam Early Access this September. What seems like ages away, it’s actually just a month!
Maybe it’s not Arizona – I don’t know as I’ve never ventured in that direction, but based on these visuals, I needn’t bother as the game captures the rocky setting perfectly, plus you get to shoot stuff why flying with a jetpack!?
From Gingerbred, this stealthy multiplayer has players don an ExoSuit for ground and air-based combat in this sci-fi shooter. The levels are set in alien landscapes, but they look so real and relatable, I feel I may be counting down the days until release.
ExoCorps isn’t solely flight as you can explore on foot, armed to the teeth with a six-in-one rifle that is ‘capable of delivering a range of lethal ordnance including auto-cannon fire, multi rockets, plasma bolts, and minigun onslaught’. Leave your Nerf gun at the door.
So it’s an FPS set in the near future, drawing inspiration from Counter-Strike and Tribes through tactical warfare such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag over the five maps available at launch.
Enough words, let’s see some action:
Head to the respective Steam page now and wishlist. Early Access is launched on the 17th of September.
