Doraemon Story Of Seasons PS4 Version Coming Soon

Doraemon Story of Seasons PS4

With the change of seasons in full swing (how would we know when we’re cooped up inside), one cool cat is looking to get in on the action, with his pal Nobi – it’s the Doraemon Story Of Seasons PS4 edition.

Doraemon Story Of Seasons, from Bandai Namco, follows the story of a schoolboy named Nobita (Nobi for short – steady) and his best friend who just so happens to be a time-travelling robotic cat named Doraemon.

Doraemon is almost like a guardian angel; getting Nobi out of awkward situations, and giving him the much-needed company he requires.

He’s a bit of a nerd.

Other than time-travel, Doraemon has an endless supply to unique inventions that make Nobi’s life easier but often puts him into far more challenging positions, and he’ll be applying those tools in Doraemon Story of Seasons.

It all starts with a turnip seed

The story follows Nobi after he inherits a small crop area to plant some goodies.

Before long, he’s hooked and is growing all manner of plants and vegetable that he sells on the side to, no doubt, fund his calculator and pen obsession.

Much like Stardew Valley or Forager, the Doraemon Story Of Seasons PS4 edition is a farming simulator but told within the world of Doraemon – anyone familiar with the story will recognise many of the characters that Nobi can interact with, performing tasks for them too.

It has to be said that this game looks gorgeous.

Having played it on the Switch, the demo that is, I was blown away with the watercolour effect. In many ways, it outdoes the original animation – except for Stand By Me Doraemon, the CG film.

Be warned: this Doraemon Story Of Seasons PS4 version will eat into your social life (if you have one) as time doesn’t seem to be factored in as you’ll spend an age cutting down trees, selling your product on the market, bug hunting and meeting up with familiar characters.

With heart-warming character moments and a plethora of activities, from building your town to raising horses and cattle, there’s lots of relaxing and engrossing work to be done to build the farm of your dreams!
