My apologies, Disney Dreamlight Valley, for I have neglected thee of late, instead fooling around with your cousin, Disney Speedstorm. Fear not as I’ll be back, what with the update announcement for both games – a roadmap, to be precise.

Disney Dreamlight Valley continues to expand the realm and improve this Early Access title. That’s right, Early Access – amazing! Anyhoo, here are the updates for the coming months (which may or may not include multiplayer, a new royal tool, and more.

  • “The Remembering” update goes live on all platforms in June along with the new Wonder of Pixar Star Path, themed alongside the Disney 100th Anniversary Celebration.
  • Update #6 is dropping this Summer with a now confirmed character that the community has been abuzz theorizing about, Vanellope von Schweetz.
  • Update #7 this fall, brings a long-awaited Disney Princess, Belle, alongside a new realm! And, our seasonal star path will bring some much-requested seasonal scares to the Valley!

Disney Speedstorm also gets some updates. Considering I play this every day, I need a new season to upgrade my existing characters (Hercules has been a pain in the arse, and I still can’t master Mulan’s missions). Again, here are highlights for the next update:

  • New racers from Pixar’s Toy Story are revving their engines this Season with the arrival of some familiar favorites. Get into the race with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and Jessie, as they bring a new level of competition to the game along with a new racing environment based on Andy’s Room from the Toy Story films.
  • Season 2 also brings Steamboat Mickey & Pete and two new game modes into the mix.
  • And don’t forget, Season 2 goes live across all platforms on June 13th with plenty of additional seasons and new content to come.

These are just the tip of the iceberg. If you’re waiting for me to update the site the moment there’s an update, you might be waiting for some time. Instead, head to the official sites for updates in the meantime, and I’ll see you on the circuits.
